Ordinance no. 22 of 1882 to amend the Supreme Court Ordinance 1873, Ordinance no. 23 of 1882, entitled "The Criminal Procedure Ordinance 1882", and Ordinance no. 24 of 1882 entitled "The Jurors and Juries Ordinance 1882".
2. In regard to Ord. no. 23, I would point out to you that the two new sections provisions, requiring that information should be filed 7 days before trial, and copies served on the prisoners six days before trial, appear to me to be a step in the wrong direction.
I am aware that under the existing law the foreman is entitled to a copy of the indictment some days beforehand so that the change is not great.
